Don’t have hours to spend in the kitchen? This recipe takes only a couple of minutes. Spaghetti + tomato + pine nuts = super tasty Italian pasta. Yep, it really can be this easy. You only need to some herbs to taste. Enjoy!
Ingredients (serve two persons)
- Whole-wheat spaghetti
- Mini tomatoes, 400-500 gram (I prefer Roma tomatoes)
- Pine nuts, 45 gram
Herbs to taste
- Italian herb seasoning (dried oregano, savory, basil and thyme)
- Fresh basil
Cook the wheat spaghetti according to package instructions. Meanwhile, heat a few dashes olive oil in another pan and sauté sliced cherry tomatoes in it over medium heat. Add some salt, pepper, dried oregano, basil, savory and thyme. Place pine nuts in a dry frying pan on low to medium heat. Stir frequently until they turn caramel brown. Mix everything and top it with some fresh basil.
